With our kite cruise you’ll get to experience a very special adventure! For 8 days we stick together in the Red Sea, sleep on board and anchor where the wind takes us. We’ll be heading to the 3 beautiful islands with some of the best kitesurfing conditions the Red Sea has to offer.
On the kite cruise you’ll share a double cabin for 7 nights. The cruise is fully cared for by our crew so we can focus strictly on kitesurfing!

Tawila
We start from Marina Hurghada and our first island will be Tawila.
Tawila means ‘flat’ in Arabic and this is probably the most famous island for kitesurfing in the Red Sea! The warm wind sweeps over the flat island from the north-west and creates the magically mirror-smooth water on the leeward side while on the side-shore side, you’ll get to play with small waves.
Qaysūm (Geisum)
Geisum actually consists of two islands, northern and southern. Here we find both side-shore and off-shore wind conditions. There are several kite spots not far from each other, lots of fun and you won’t get bored, guaranteed.
Ashrafi
Ashrafi is the northern of the three islands. Here we find a kilometer-sized shallow water lagoon that is enclosed by a sandbar. Outside the sandbar, there’s a little secret, a sweet little wave spot.
A day on the boat
In the morning
Our day begins with a morning yoga session. We can either go up on deck of the boat or jump into the little dinghy and take a little trip to the island. After stretching-up, our crew will serve you breakfast to kick start your day.
After the breaky, we then load up the dinghy with the kite gear and ride to the island shores to start our first kitesurfing session.
During the day
After the brief instruction and a few warm-up exercises, everyone goes into the water to let off the steam! During your kitesurfing session we’re with you in the water and on the beach, help you take off, land and provide training and instructions.
We then hop on the dinghy to take us back to the boat for lunch break. Short chill after lunch and then back on the water! This time we kite until sunset. Should your limbs go limp, we have two lifeboats ready to collect you again if necessary!
In the evening
Evenings are to chill on the boat. Many stories are told, games played and there’s lots of fun. We go through your riding videos and photos and evaluate your skills and improvements. The starry sky is breathtaking and since the boat is anchored in the slipstream of the island, we can look forward to another quiet night with little swell.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival day
You arrive at Hurghada airport. We will pick you up and take you to the boat. You’ll get to your cabin and meet your other fellow kitesurfing mates.
We sleep at the harbour the first night and the boat doesn’t leave till the next morning, so you have enough time to unpack.
Day 2 – Friday
While your head is still in the clouds early in the morning, the boat engines already start to rattle and our crew is getting ready for take off to the first island!
Depending on the wind direction and its strength, we sail either to Tawilla, Ashrafi or Geisum. There are an infinite number of kitesurfing spots to explore.
Days 3 – 7
Every day brings a new experience. Depending on the wind direction and conditions, each day we’ll decide which island we want to sail to for the next kitesurfing session. There’s fun even if you decide to take your board off for the day. You can spend a day snorkeling, catching sun rays or just chilling on the deck with a good book.
Day 8 – Departure
We’ll arrive back at the Hurghada port on Wednesday afternoon around 5pm. We’ll spend the last night here. Friendships are made, numbers and photos will be exchanged and we’ll celebrate this awesome experience.
The next day we’ll get you back to the airport, safe and sound, just in time for your flight back home.
