The Boavista island is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and with the best conditions for water sports of the 13 islands of Cape Verde located about 500-600 km in front the North African coast of Dakar, about 1000 kilometers south of the Canary Islands.

The alísios winds coming from the desert Sara from November until the end of April make this place a paradise for windsurfers, kitesurfers and wingfoils. Our center is located next to the Morabeza restaurant, one of the most beautiful places on the island with a welcoming atmosphere, the wind is side off between 15 to 30 knots for safety the spot is divided in 2 areas, kitesurf from the right side here you can sail in flat water or ride on the small waves most by the shoulder the windsurf area is located from left side where you can sail along the beach in flat water on the days of the biggest swell our team always is already to help you in any situation.
Windsurfing and wingfoiling beginner classes are done on the Sal Rei islet located 400 meters from our center with flat water and onshore wind the sandy deep makes this spot perfect to beginner lessons.
If you like waves to the right of the center have an excellent option: ” Leoa ”, a perfect wave there you can make some turns in a wave up to head-high. Because the sandbank is quite deep, in relation to its size this wave is not too heavy, so you don’t have to worry too much when you crash in the wave. The wave is a pointbreak so if you surf next to the sandbank you can get around the wave with no problems and there is no destructive shorebreak you need to pass. To the left of the center we have the wave of the Hotel Rui, a perfect right for all levels works even on days with less waves you just have to avoid the shore break and you can surf in complete safety.
50-100 meters to the right there is a perfect little wave, knee to shoulder high which is perfect for Stand Up Paddle or surfing, Your level doesn’t matter, even beginner will ride their first waves after a very short time. Especially in the morning with sunrise and in the evening with sunset it’s just a dream and one of the highlights of the day.
It doesn’t matter if you are kitesurfing, windsurfing, wingfoiling, Sup-Boarding or with the surfing, in the wave or in flat water this spot as got a lot to offer and you will have a wonderful time over here!
